Firm Leadership
a) Mr. Mugisha Niko Henry
Mr. Mugisha Niko Henry has over 5 years’ experience in audit and assurance engagements with International firms like PKF Uganda and BDO East Africa with international and multinational companies.
He has a second class upper degree in Economics (Makerere University). He is currently pursuing a Certified Public Accountancy certification and is in his final stages.
At PKF Uganda, he attended a number of training workshops and seminars organized by the firm covering a variety of topics relating to auditing, taxation, and accounting and general management and development skills.
b) Mr. Akuku Hillary Jacky
Mr. Akuku Hillary is a young brilliant man who has MBA degree, Bachelor of Commerce, ACCA qualification. He is a member of accounting professional body of ACCA and CPA(U).
Mr. Akuku has a career in audit that spans over 6 years during in which period he audited a diverse range of companies/organizations in the private and public sectors as well as donor funded organizations. He gained auditing and accounting experience through dealing with clients in commerce, finance, trade, government and non-governmental organizations. He is well experienced in coordinating work and effectively liaising with stakeholders, as well as building productive relationships with clients.
Mr. Akuku has developed technical and business competences through exposure to audit assignments in various industries and through my professional studies. He developed management and leadership skills by leading audit teams and ensuring proper co-ordination is achieved between the clients and the audit team. This was built through being an audit senior at Ernst & Young and as a senior audit manager. He also reviewed audit work to ensure that established AHT audit standards and International Standards on Auditing are complied with. He trained audit staff on the understanding and application of International Standards on Auditing and International Financial Reporting Standards.
c) Mr. Omongin John
Mr. Omongin John is a highly motivated and performing individual with a strong will for perfection and a canny panache for efficiency and timely delivery on assignments.
He has over 5 years’ experience in Practical tax and assurance engagements both locally and internationally.
He holds a Bachelor of commerce (Sikkim Manipal University-India), a postgraduate diploma in Taxation (East African School of Taxation). He is currently pursuing a Certified Public Accountancy certification and is in his final stages.
He has attended a number of training workshops and seminars organized by ICPAU and Uganda Revenue Authority covering a variety of topics relating to auditing, taxation, and accounting and general management and development skills.
He has headed various teams in face to face tax reconciliation meetings, tax audits and reviews within the East African region for various clients under different sectors.
